St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a warm, friendly school where the staff and Governors work together to provide a caring and safe environment in which children thrive. We encourage the children to be independent, responsible and enthusiastic learners. We enjoy working in partnership with parents to achieve the best outcomes for all our children and enable them to develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and creatively.
St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School exists to serve the Roman Catholic families of St Mary’s, and St. Cecilia’s and St Patrick’s, Sunderland.
At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, we recognise that we are all part of God’s wonderful creation and therefore are all special. We learn to respect one another as we prepare for the life in the wider world. Our school community is united by our faith in Jesus, whose message we live by and teach.
